A very busy 3 days at the NEC Restoration Show. This show is growing every year and becoming very popular in the restoration scene. Many visitors to the British Mini Club stand during the weekend. Thank you for everyone who took the time to visit us. We hope we inspired you to keep building and restoring your classic Mini.
We had some great Mini’s on display including the RAF Mini owned by Chris Moss and helping to celebrate 100 years of the RAF. Did you get fooled by the Wicker Mini? Most thought it once belonged to actor Peter Sellers. He is of course very famous for owning this Mini. In fact it was owned by Margot Fontayn. Also on the stand was a 1968 MK2 Mini Shell currently being restored by CRM Auto’s.
Dave Hollis said at the end of the 3 days ”
Massive thanks to all of our BMC members that displayed minis and helped out over the weekend at the NEC. It was great to catch up with all of our friends on many other mini club stands. Together we all do a great job on keeping the mini scene alive, hope to see many of you at Himley hall on the 13th May…”
The show also includes the Car Club Awards. Sadly we were not nominated this year but well done to all the clubs who were. Maybe next year will be our time
Check out a great video introduction to our stand on our Facebook page
