Dr Stuart Chance with his incredible Extreme Mini wins Best Mini/MINI of Mini Fair 2012. A superb transformation of a Clubman Estate into a Hearse was wonderfull to see and even included a coffin in the back. Although the coffin was being used for the MIni’s ICE system with fitted speakers. Even sporting the number plate ‘GON 2L’ which of course reads ‘Gone 2 Hell’ !! All done in good taste of course. It was good to see the Extreme and Rat Minis on display which included some highly customised MInis and 2 Mini shortys, one being a Classic MIni and another a new MINI. Unfortunatly 3 of the Rat Minis had a problem on the way to Mini Fair and unable to get into the halls they put on an excellent display outside the main entrance. Which attracted a lot of attention.
Robin Hood Mini Club won the Best Club Stand with a fantastic display using the International theme. Although the Birmingham MOC deserve a mention for spending all day dressed as Fondant Fancies. Well done everyone, now the Robin Hood MC have a chance to choose the theme for Himley
Hopefully the Extreme Minis class will be back at our future shows. Sponsored by Branson Automotive (Autoglym) and Footman James each class winner received Autoglym products worth nearly £70.
