Glynne Woodridge wins Mini Of The Show at this years British Mini Day at Himley Hall. Sponsored by Autoglym c/o Branson Automotive. Glynne received a detailing pack from Autoglym plus a £150 voucher to spend at Motaclan.

The very stunning Mini Clubman, in the 1970’s class, was rebuilt by Glynne over 9 months in his workshop at home. Including spraying it himself inside a poly tunnel with a log burner to keep it warm. What could be more deserving to be awarded Mini Of The Day.
Every Mini on display in Premier Concours was a credit to their owner. The 60’s class was very close as ever with a varying style of of Mini, from Dave Rippard perfect early MK1 to John Osman’s Mini Van. Fantastic to see the return of Richard Prior to concours with his stunning low mileage GP3, after many years away from scene. Richard used to be successful with a Classic Mini and it was good to see him back.
Thank you to all our Concours entrants you did yourself proud. Also to the judges who took the time to judge every Mini.
Show N Shine just keeps growing every year, which we love to see. The quality of all Mini’s is fantastic from the start of Mini in 59 onwards, all variants from a Cooper S, Mini Clubman Estates, modified R53s. Plus did you see the 2 very rare Rover Mini Grand Prix with consecutive build numbers, 8 and 9, at the end of the row in the 9’s class.
44 Modern MINI’s ! Wow what a mixture as well including Clubvan, how often do you see those? Our two judges spent 2 hours deliberating and checking every single MINI to decide on the 2 best ones. A massive task thats for sure.
Thank you to all our entrants, you helped to make show look incredible. Maybe some of you might try your hand at Concours at a future British Mini Clubman event. A big thank you to the judges as well. It’s a very difficult job and you were all brilliant.

Did you see the 34 club stands, yes 34. What a day for them. Glorious early summer sunshine and a perfect chance to showcase you club to everyone. With the theme of the Wild West the MINI Girls UK certainly took up the challenge and delivered a quite crazy stand with a rodeo backdrop, dressing up in inflatable horses and cowgirl/boy outfits. They had the biggest stand on the day with over 50 Mini’s on display.

The Challenge 210 Club also had their biggest display of any show in order to celebrate 10 years of this quite unique MINI.
We hope all Clubs had an awesome day at Himley, you certainly looked like you enjoyed yourselves and a massive thank you for your continued support.
