Himley Hall 2019 – Show Results

Dave Rippard wins ‘Mini Of The Day’ with his superb MK1 Mini at the British Mini Clubs Mini Day at Himley Hall in the midlands. Well done to Dave and his Mini was a popular choice among the judges. All class winners in the Classic Mini and Modern MINI Premier Concours are revisited and a winner decided. Congratulations to everyone who was awarded 1st place in each class. They now go through to the finals at Mini Fair 2020. Don’t worry if you win as everyone has a 2nd chance at Stanford Hall on the 15th September.

What a great turn out in Show N Shine, we had over 120 Mini’s of all ages pre-booked in so we were expecting a great show, and we were not dissapointed. One of our favourites was a tweed grey MK1 Mini Cooper, what a beauty it is. We overheard the owner saying he didn’t want to go down the Cooper S route as he wanted to go back to his youth with a Cooper, that is what the spirit of Mini ownership is all about.

John Kinman decided to try his hand at Concours for the first time with his superb R55 MINI Clubman and won himself a 2nd place. We’ve seen John’s MINI evolve over the years. It really is one of the best Clubmans on the scene. Always good to see entrants making the step across from Show N Shine to Concours.

Fantastic turn out of Mini clubs and it’s always lovely to see the Mini family making the most of the sunshine and relaxing with each other. A great display by all but inparticular the Tamworth Mini Maniacs who dressed up in their best Hawaiian gear to celebrate Mini 60. Well done to all the clubs at Himley Hall
