Rare 1964 Austin Mini Countryman ‘Woody’ Restoration Project
Mileage: 70,489 original miles.
Location: Leicestershire – collection required.

An exceptional opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after August 1964 Austin Mini Countryman in original Surf Blue (Reg DPP 3B). This “Woody” has been in the family for over 50 years and is now looking for a dedicated enthusiast to return it to its former glory. It has been dry-stored for the time we have owned it and is stripped down ready for restoration.

Condition
Status: Full restoration project, stripped and ready to restore. It has a solid rust-free shell.
Completeness: Original parts have been retained, although may have had replacement wings at some point. It was complete, drivable and went through an MOT in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
Original Wood: includes original exterior woodwork which, while it requires refurbishment, is all available.

Provenance & Documentation
This Mini comes with an impeccable paper trail, rare for a vehicle of this age:
Original Green Log Book: Showing the registration DPP 3B.
Heritage Certificate: A certified copy of the factory record from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust, confirming its authenticity and build specifications.

This is a reluctant sale of a family treasure. It represents a fantastic canvas for a collector or professional restorer looking for a genuine, UK-matching-numbers Woody with documented history.
