This is a super example of a mini 1000 albeit modified over the years mostly to make it more drivable. The bodywork is extraordinary with some new panels but mostly the construction is original. It has new front wings, “A” panels and door skins. The rest of the body work is original and in superb condition.
A 1275 cc engine has been fitted and front discs and a dual circuit braking system. It also has an alternator.
The car has been resprayed some years ago and is a “Cooper” look alike. (Not to be mistaken for the real thing.)
It drives superbly and looks fantastic.
It has been self-maintained other than new front ball joints, wheel bearing and most recently a replacement oil seal at the rear of the gear box.
The interior is as it was in 1970 and is good condition but not perfect.
She is 50 years next year and needs a good home to go to.
A host of items were replaced/ renewed when the car was restored and modified. I have a full list of all the parts.
