Good condition, Some history, 1098 engine, twin SU carburettors with K&N pancake filters, electronic ignition, fully undersealed, new front brake calipers, good tyres all round, used daily,
This car underwent a partial restoration in 2017 at Nick Hobbs Mini in Worcester before becoming the last classic Mini to be raffled off by the British Mini Club at their Bingley Hall show in January 2018.
This car has been my pride and joy since winning it but new baby and new projects are forcing a very reluctant sale.
The car is fitted with a 1098cc along with twin SU HS4s (rolling road tuned in 2018 by BHP Performance) and electronic ignition. It is no speed demon but it can hold its own. It has been (and will continue to be) my daily driver for the last few months and has never let me down. The paint is in reasonable condition minus usual small stone chips etc. The interior was all reupholstered in 2017 with new carpets fitted this year. Italian job style front spotlights fitted this year (not wired in yet). Everything works as it should, all electrics working perfectly, starts on the button every time.
This Mini is 34 years old so not perfect. There is a small oil leak (I think from the timing cover) and small rust patches stating to form at the bottom of the A-panels along with a small bubble on the nearside wing. These are very superficial and were not noted as advisories for the MOT. The front off side break stone cover also catches at times (making a scraping sound).
This car has been well cared for and kept as nice as possible. As well as my daily driver is has also been a show car featured on the BMC stand and numerous other shows over the last few years.
Any inspection welcome.
